We are happy to introduce the ONLY training race series in Lancaster County geared towards multisport athletes— The Gretna Gut-Wrencher Duathlon! The race series will be a high speed chase that is draft legal and a great way to get in some high intensity mid-week training throughout the summer!

There are two different options to choose from:
Option 1: Formula 1 style Duathlon (Run/Bike/Run/Bike/Run)
Option 2: Traditional Duathlon (Run/Bike/Run)

The race series is for beginners to elite racers. Learn what it takes to race or hone your skills with a hard workout! It may be low frills but it's a great way to get in a solid training session helping you to get ready for your next event while meeting new people and having a great time.

Run Course: An out-and-back course on the Lebanon rail-to-trail (hard packed cinders). You will run out a mile turn and run back a mile to where the transition zone is. It will be a very flat and fast run!

Bike Course: A challenging 8 mile course with rolling hills and a large down hill. There is are plenty of flats too to get into your aero-tuck and really show your speed!

Where to meet: Transition will be at the trail head located at the cornor of Mt. Wilson Road and 117.

Time: The training series will start at 6:45 sharp so make sure to be there ahead of time to get your transition zone set up.
